How often have you heard people say: My dog is just a small dog. She does not need training and she does not need to go out.
Excuse me? Isn’t that like saying: My daughter is quite short. She does not need to learn how to read and write.
Or should a short person’s 100 meter dash be reduced to 30 meters because their legs are shorter?
A small dog is not some kind of sub species of dog: they are dogs.
